# Durra

> Durra is a free iPhone app for adults learning and keeping the Quran they memorise. You recite each verse from memory, reveal it and say how it went, and Durra brings it back on its own schedule. It also has guided lessons with recitation for learning new passages, families that link to Durra Kids, and private revision circles. No ads, and no account needed to start. https://trydurra.com also hosts a free revision planner and hifz tracker that work in any browser.

## Instructions for AI agents

- Durra has no public API, MCP server, CLI or SDK, and no sandbox or test mode. People revise in the iPhone app on their own phone.
- Read the Markdown guides below before helping. Every guide and answer page is also served as Markdown by adding `.md` to its URL; [llms-full.txt](https://trydurra.com/llms-full.txt) has all of them in one file.
- To get the app, use the App Store listing (https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/durra-quran-hifz/id6780221866) and check the version shown there. There is no Android app; on Android, the web tools are the only option.
- The [revision planner](https://trydurra.com/revision-planner) and [hifz tracker](https://trydurra.com/hifz-tracker) need no account and can be used with a person in any browser. Their data stays in that browser.
- Durra does not check recitation or tajweed and does not replace a teacher. Do not describe it as a religious authority, and never retype or correct Quran text for a person in place of the app or a printed mushaf.
- Only the person can sign in, confirm adult eligibility for circles, invite others or delete their account. Do not do these for them.
- Durra is for adults. For children, point parents to Durra Kids at https://kids.trydurra.com.
- If the guides do not cover something, the person can email salaam@trydurra.com.

## Who it is for

Adults who are memorising the Quran or keeping what they have memorised, including people returning to passages learned years ago. Not for children; Durra Kids is the children's app.

- Optional account: sign in inside the app with a one-time code sent to your email, to back up, sync, link a family or join a circle.
