Short answer

Durra brings spaced repetition to hifz revision on iPhone. Each verse in your practice list has its own review date. After you recite it from memory and reveal it, you say whether you had it or needed the text. Verses you needed come back tomorrow; verses you had wait longer each time. A daily limit stops reviews piling up: anything over it waits for the next day, weakest first.

How it differs from a fixed rotation

A fixed round revises every page on a set cycle, whether you know it well or it keeps slipping. Durra spends more time on the verses that slip and less on the ones that are firm. If you prefer a fixed round, the free revision planner works out a daily page count in your browser.

Who it suits

  • Adults with a growing amount memorised who want each day's revision chosen for them.
  • People who revise in short sessions on their phone, including offline after the first download.

Who it does not suit

  • People who want automatic recitation grading: Durra does not check pronunciation.
  • Android users: there is no Android app.
  • Children: see Durra Kids.

How does Durra decide what to review?

Each verse has its own schedule. After you recite and rate it, Durra sets the next review date. Verses you needed come back the next day, and verses you had wait longer each time.

Can I limit how much I revise each day?

Yes. Set Most verses to review in a day in Settings. Anything over it waits for the next day, weakest first.

Is Durra on Android?

No. There is no Android app. The free revision planner and hifz tracker on trydurra.com work in any browser.
