How many pages a day to keep your hifz?

Choose the juz you have memorized and how long one full round of revision should take. You get a daily page count and a plan you can follow or print. If you use the hifz tracker, you can plan from the surahs you ticked there instead. Nothing is sent anywhere, it all runs in your browser.

1. Which juz do you hold?

2 of 30 selected

2. How many revision days for one full round?

Count only the days you actually revise. If you rest one day a week, a 7 day round takes about eight calendar days.

About the page numbers

Pages follow the 604 page Madinah mushaf printed by the King Fahd Complex, the widely used 15 line layout. A few juz begin partway down a page (juz 4, 7, 11 and 26). Here each juz is counted from the page it begins on. If your mushaf is a different print, such as many South Asian editions, its page numbers will not match.

Where Durra fits

A fixed round makes sure every page gets touched. It treats a page you know cold the same as one that keeps slipping. In the Durra app you add the ayahs you have memorized, recite each one from memory, reveal it and rate your recall. Weak ayahs come back sooner and strong ones wait longer. Many people use both: a round for coverage, Durra for the spots that need more.
